The poem is a speculative dialogue between myself and a plant growing from a crack in the cement of an urban landscape. From this shared ground, new imaginaries emerge. Questions of belonging, interconnection, and territory arise between us.
This multi-sensory narrative interweaves personal experiences of motherhood and migration, reflecting on how we inhabit space as a gesture of transgenerational resilience—within and beyond hegemonic structures.
